Lee
Sankey is the Director
of Stewardship Services for the Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation. Lee received his B.S. from Kansas State
University, and his M.S. in Economics
from Iowa State University. After working in for-profit businesses, Lee
joined the development staff at Sterling
College in Sterling, Kansas,
where he worked in annual campaigns and capital campaigns. Lee joined the staff of the Foundation on
April 1, 2004.
Lee is a member of the Trinity United
Methodist Church,
Hutchinson, Kansas.
Lee is a member of the Faith and Money Focus Group of the National
Association of United Methodist Foundations, and serves on the Boards of
Discipleship for both Kansas East and Kansas West Annual Conferences. Lee is a frequent New Consecration Sunday
speaker at United Methodist Churches throughout Kansas.
He is a trained leader and counselor in the Good $ense financial
management ministry, and has led Lay Speaking courses on Stewardship. Lee
serves as a consultant to United Methodist Churches for capital campaigns and
annual stewardship commitment programs.
